Hi, I'm Evelyn

I guide women to heal from their chronic pelvic pain/pelvic floor dysfunction through a daily guided program that includes education, calming mind exercises and a gentle progressive body exercise videos.

My home program can be completed in a short four weeks, but to make lasting changes in your nervous system and brain for optimum pelvic function, three months is best. Achieving meaningful life activities while reversing your symptoms takes time and gentle repetition. 

Why I love to help women

Growing up in the "give it to me straight" energy of Brooklyn NY, reading my mother’s copies of Ms. Magazine, and living/traveling abroad helped me become a pioneer and leader in pelvic physical therapy.

When I began my PT career in a large hospital, countless patients would confide in me their deepest, most embarrassing concerns of leaking, urgency, vaginal pain, constipation and more.  

They’d ask:
“How will I ever have a baby when I can’t be intimate with my partner?”
or “What do I say to my friends when they invite me out to dinner and I go to the bathroom five times an hour?”

I knew I had a calling, a gift to help women let go of feelings of shame and the deep-rooted, cultural thinking that vaginal pain and bladder/bowel issues are “just part of being female”.  

Seeing how women were treated in many cultures, I sensed that I could contribute to empowering women by helping them heal and love themselves.

By offering this program through the digital space, more women can learn the guided education and techniques that helped the thousands I personally treated in my NYC practice.  Too many women still post on social media about feeling hopeless about healing their pelvic conditions.

I offer hope and a way towards pelvic healing.

What are the benefits of working with me?

I offer a "biopsychosocial" approach to healing many chronic pelvic conditions.

Women with long standing pelvic issues of over 6 months typically visit numerous doctors, doing their best to find out the "biomedical" cause of ongoing symptoms.  It's natural for our medical institutions to look for inflamed, infected or other dysfunctional physical tissue cause for ongoing pain.  After countless medical tests, prescribed medications, perhaps surgery, many women still experience pain!

The answer is in the nervous system and brain.

Modern pain science explains the WHY of pain and offers HOPE that faulty patterns developed within the nervous system and brain can be unlearned.  Psychological stress, social injustices, early childhood trauma, and emotional insults can create or lead to chronic pain.  The GOOD NEWS is the brain and nervous system have the property of neuroplasticity, the ability to learn new, healthier patterns that can lower pain and regain a good quality of life.
